The Butterfly logo was designed for the CBC by Hubert Tison in 1966 to mark the network’s progressing transition from black and white to colour television. Before Burton Kramer’s famous “gem” logo dropped in 1974, CBC audiences were treated to this beautiful colourful butterfly.

Our coasters are not dishwasher safe, but you can wipe them with a cloth soaked in mild soap and warm water. Since the ceramic is absorbent, the quicker you wipe up any spills the better stain prevention for coloured beverages.
